REFUNDS

Refund Policy

Last updated:

1. Scope and legal rights

This policy applies to paid Libérons subscriptions. The free plan has no payment to refund. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, termination, refund or other remedies available under applicable law.

2. Monthly subscriptions

Paid subscriptions recur automatically at the displayed frequency until cancelled. Except where required by law, due to an error attributable to Libérons or by an express commercial decision, a billing period already started is not automatically refundable and unused storage is not prorated. Uninstalling the app, signing out, changing devices or ceasing use does not cancel a subscription.

3. Refund requests

For a request not based on a specific legal right, contact support@liberons.com within 14 calendar days of payment. This allows commercial review but does not guarantee a refund or shorten any more favorable legal deadline.

4. Errors, duplicate charges and unrecognized transactions

Promptly report duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, unrecognized charges or payments assigned to the wrong account. Never send your password, card security code or full card number. Unauthorized transactions are handled according to applicable rights and the procedures of the provider that processed the payment.

5. Incidents or non-conforming service

A temporary incident does not automatically entitle a user to a full monthly refund. Where a paid service was materially unavailable, not supplied or legally non-conforming, Libérons reviews the situation and provides the remedy required by applicable law, which may include correction, restoration, price reduction or refund.

6. Effect of a refund on your plan

When a payment is refunded, cancelled or charged back, the corresponding paid capacity may end according to the actual subscription status. New protection may be paused if current usage then exceeds available capacity. A refund or initial payment failure does not by itself immediately erase photos, videos or files already protected.

7. Failed payments and protected content

When a subscription payment fails, a 7-day regularization period may apply. During that period, new protection may be paused and some recovery functions limited. If the issue remains unresolved, certain functions may then be suspended.

An additional 20-day retention period may then apply before affected content is deleted. Regularizing the subscription before that retention period expires cancels scheduled deletion. Mandatory legal rights and notices remain applicable.

8. Chargebacks

You retain any legal right to dispute a transaction with your financial institution. To avoid duplicate reimbursement, a request concerning a transaction already disputed may be coordinated with the payment provider. Knowingly false or fraudulent duplicate claims may result in proportionate measures without preventing a legitimate dispute.

9. Approved refunds

An approved refund is normally returned to the original payment method. Posting time then depends on the payment provider and financial institution, subject to any mandatory legal deadline. Whether a refund is full or partial depends on the decision and applicable rights.

10. International rights

Mandatory consumer rights in Canada and Québec, the EU/EEA, United Kingdom, United States, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand and other applicable territories remain fully available. Where a mandatory rule is more favorable than this policy, that rule prevails.

11. How to contact us

Email support@liberons.com from the address linked to your account and include the payment date, amount, transaction reference when available and a concise description of the issue. Do not send unnecessary sensitive payment information.
